Born and raised on the Canadian prairies, Kurt comes from a large family of two brothers and five sisters. He currently lives in Saskatoon, SK, Canada, with his lovely wife and a cat by the name of Prophet. Kurt's fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in over a dozen small press print and on-line magazines, including: Kaleidotrope, Raven Electrick, Reflection's Edge, and The Horror Fiction Review.
Susan Mattinson is currently enrolled in her third year of a B.A in English: Creative Writing at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada. In the past, her short stories have received awards from the International Teacher’s Association, Cancopy’s Copyright Literacy contest, and placed in the quarter-finals (top 10%) of L. Ron Hubbard’s Writers of the Future contest. Susan is currently working on her first novel.
Geoff Nelder
Geoff Nelder is a freelance writer living in Chester, UK with his long-suffering wife. His grown-up children have a sense and intelligence that remain a mystery to him. He has had non-fiction books published on climates along with several articles in academic journals such as Weather, Geographical Magazine and the Times Educational Supplement, as well as contributing humorous travel accounts to Cycling World.Geoff has had short stories published online and in print, and has won a commendation for a story in the Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Competition. He won first prize in the Café Doom short story competition in 2005. His 2005 humor novel, Escaping Reality, was published by www.bramblingbooks.com, and he is currently working on a Science Fiction trilogy. Alex D. Nesterenko tries to publish as much as he can. Most notably, he has had his drawings shown on Gamasutra.com and in Apex Digest. At one time he printed under the partial pseudonym *Adrian Nesterenko* to prevent confusion with a Soviet painter. He has an infatuation with dead malls and defunct retail chains and, apart from drawing, makes little time for much of anything else.
John B. Rosenman
John has published three full-length works of fiction: The Best Laugh Last, a mainstream novel, More Stately Mansions: The Selected Works of John B. Rosenman, a collection of reprint stories, and Beyond Those Distant Stars, a science-fiction adventure novel. Beyond Those Distant Stars will be republished in January. Two more science-fiction novels, Speaker of the Shakk and A Senseless Act of Beauty are scheduled for 2006 by Mundania Press and Scrybe Press respectively. John has published nearly 300 stories in Weird Tales, Starshore, Whitley Strieber’s Aliens, Cemetery Dance, Treachery and Treason, the Hot Blood series, etc. He considers his major theme to be transformation in all its imaginable aspects.
