Reality Complex is a magazine of speculative fiction. Wikipedia offers an explanation of speculative fiction here which is serviceable, but by no means encompassing. For the purposes of this magazine, begin by thinking of it as an umbrella term which includes fantasy, science-fiction, and horror but extends to include any literature which challenges the human mind to question the nature of things in new and interesting ways.

Reality Complex will be published according to the schedule in the Guidelines section, both online and in print.

How We Will Get There

Reality Complex will create an environment where writers feel confident submitting their best work. We know that as a writer, you are making a large commitment by submitting your work to a new magazine. As such, we offer our commitment that you will receive a timely response to your submission. Currently, handling time is estimated at approximately 4-8 weeks.
